--West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins said there was a lot of things from this game. He’s always found when you’re a pretty good free throw shooting team and you got 11-21 a lot of that is concentration. They didn’t have that, and they fumbled balls which was concentration. Huggins said they weren’t reading their press clippings because they don’t have a paper, but they didn’t play with an edge.

--Oklahoma was ball screening to get so many mismatches with Austin Reaves.

--If the guy with the ball is good the ISO is hard to defend especially if he plays in a straight line. They have a 6-foot-6 guy that when the defense closes on him, he can find open people and he knows where they are each time down the floor. They ran the same thing at the end of the game and couldn’t get close to the paint. Then with three seconds to go couldn’t get it on the rim.

--On the final possessions, other than the spurt that Sean McNeil had to get them into the game who else would you want to have shoot it there. They tried Deuce McBride and Taz Sherman, so they wanted to try to get the ball to Derek Culver as he scored at will early in the game.

--A lot of what unfolded with fumbled balls and missed layups was related to a lack of concentration. West Virginia’s was not very good after the Texas Tech game, but they get back at 4:30 a.m. and you can’t practice the next day. They had a terrible practice afterward and they were so, so at best. Part of it was that and another part is they were full of themselves after beating a couple ranked teams. They didn’t have good practices.

--Jalen Bridges played better than anybody else they had.

--Huggins hasn’t been told of any makeup games yet, he knows that they play Texas on Saturday.
