--West Virginia head coach Bob Huggins said he was surprised that Kansas shot it as well as they did from the perimeter but when they missed they rebounded it. They were a lot quicker to the ball than West Virginia was today for whatever reason.

--Very rarely when you’re on defense it doesn’t bounce to you, but they didn’t go rebound the ball and Kansas beat them to every loose ball.

--Sophomore Oscar Tshiebwe has struggled shooting the ball but it’s hard to make it if you don’t look where you’re shooting. He isn’t being as physical and he’s not running the way he did last year. Huggins thinks he will change and snap out of it.

--Huggins thought Sean McNeil could shoot it like that and he’s done it in practice but only he and Deuce McBride made shots today. Taz Sherman has had a bad week shooting and they couldn’t throw it close to stop the bleeding. They did a good job with ball pressure and West Virginia didn’t handle the physicality inside against the Jayhawks.

--Huggins felt the zone was fine before they stopped rebounding out of it. They were behind in the first half and went to the zone and got the lead. But they let them get going and it was tough to turn it around. Their worst shooter was 6-8 and 3-3 from three and doesn’t make threes.

--Josh Eilert has bene working like crazy to get somebody in the Coliseum to play a game but it’s tough because of the testing because everybody is trying to get league games in right now. They’re trying to schedule a game but it’s difficult right now.

--West Virginia hasn’t been as physical as they need to be and haven’t guarded. Defense has to be a consistent and that hasn’t been the case.
