The circle where the Pens shot twice. Honestly haven't seen such a display of "I don't give a shit" from a Pens team since Sid arrived. I am quite certain Bennett didn't break a sweat until period 3. Lovejoy was a no-show. Lapierre won't even hit now. He is just playing out the season. Letang, Adams, Sutter actually worked hard. Sid was descent. Not much else. Complete waste of money. A mistake I won't make again as long as the players don't care.

After that ass beating, I knew WVU was in store for something similar. That's just usually how my teams do if they play on same nights. Usually if Pens win, WVU wins. If 1 loses, other loses. If one gets blown out, other gets blown out.

But the Pens are sucking it up. They play a terrible Coyote team tomorrow who is in full tank mode. No excuse to lose to them. However, I said the same thing about Canes and they beat Pens 5-2.

Either way, I am looking forward to the playoffs. Either they will shock us all and start playing good or they will lose 1st round and the suffering can end for the season.

Team is pretty close to being good, still need 1 more off-season to make appropriate fixes. Lot of $ coming off the books should give Pens some flexibility. Wouldn't be shocked if they traded Kunitz and/or Sutter.

I am most curious to see what happens with coaching. Keep Johnston? What if Babcock doesn't stay in Detroit?
