Week 2 Pick'em

No spreads, just about 10 P5 vs P5 games (and/or whoever WVU is playing) with maybe a couple as just an interesting alternative

Edit after looking at the full slate, due to some of the P5 vs P5 games this week being so bad (see Kentucky @ Florida for the approaching what 30th straight Kentucky loss) actually had to include some just more games "you have to think about it."

Youngstown State @ WVU-tie breaker: total points scored

VA Tech @ Tennessee - Bristol motor speedway
Penn State @ Pitt
BYU @ Utah
S Carolina @ Miss State
Arkansas @ TCU
TX Tech @ Arizona State
UNC @ Illinois

Alternative games
Ohio @ Kansas
NC State @ East Carolina.
Middle Tennessee @ Vandy (yeah I'm scraping bottom of the barrel I know but the options like the battle for the Cyhawk Trophy or acc conference ganes are worse imo)

My picks
WVU (total of 69 points scored

Tennessee
Penn State (like picking between North Korea vs Iran)
BYU
Miss State
TCU
TX Tech
UNC

Ohio
East Carolina
Vandy

I went 6 of 10 with the underdog via Vegas

Last week sure had better marquee games.

MISS ST.
TCU
TTU
UNC

ALTERNATES:
KU
NC ST.
VANDY

8-2 last week, let's see if I can do it again!

Also, why not include Cincinnati/Purdue if you felt you were bottom feeding on some of these. Maybe we should include a Big 12 wannabe every week to make it more interesting. Houston sure made it interesting last week.

After the first week of the season's outcomes involving top 25 teams, I think I would be more accurate throwing darts left-handed and blindfolded with my selections.
I'll just wait to see how badly WVU beats Youngstown, hope Oklahoma State beats Central Michigan, pray Kansas beats Ohio University, root for TCU to topple Arkansas, look for Texas to trample Texas-El Paso, figure Oklahoma can handle Louisiana-Monroe (or Stoops might leap from the nearest bridge), cross my fingers that Iowa State can knock off Iowa again, cheer for Texas Tech to rip through Arizona State, even pull for Baylor to beat the crap out of SMU.

M anhandled Missouri, 26-11

Okay I think there are high schools in Cincinnati that can beat Purdue. Maybe not really but I just think that program is baaaaad, like really baaaaaad.. I actually think the games I got from the bottom of the barrel will be more competitive and at least interesting.

Maybe we should do the Big XII audition game of the week? The problem with that is they're playing mostly weak OOC schedules (other than BYU who is playing 3 P5 schools before WVU in consecutive weeks) and the G5 conference games I can't get into.
