Northern Iowa running back Tye Edwards has committed to West Virginia. Visiting Jan. 7. Edwards started his career at Georgia Military College and then moved onto Hutchinson C.C. He then transferred to UTSA where he appeared in just three games. Transferred to Northern Iowa where he first appeared in nine games with 536 yards and 5 touchdowns and followed that up with 1,012 yards and 6 touchdowns averaging 6.4 yards per carry. Has one year of eligibility remaining.
