John Olesky, of Tallmadge Ohio. 91 years old and a 1954 graduate WVU School of Journalism. I don't recall what screen name he went by on here, maybe something to do with Cuyahoga or Tallmadge. But I do know in his newspaper writer career he was a sportswriter for 15 of those years. At one point just a few years ago he had attended over 200 straight Mountaineer football home games even though he lived a couple of hundred miles from Morgantown. If that isn't die hard I don't know what is.
Someone on this board always gave Mr. Olesky a hard time, calling him a fake sportswriter at every opportunity and generally harassing him every time he posted anything here. I hope that person sees this and realizes that all he was doing was frustrating one of the biggest Mountaineer fans that ever lived.
