Obviously Kneels agent found a new client and a new sucker to hustle.

That is risky business there. Extending someone based on the vibe instead of the results is noot proving to be a smart move, at least for WVU it wasnt smart at all.

Im starting to feel like it's all one big hustle...the ADs negotiate absurdly lopsided contracts with buyouts that actually incentivize getting fired. The agent gets his $$$, but then greases the people who set it all up for him.

What the Peanut Butter Covered F$&k?

It is an odds game that everyone is bad at. They are so afraid of having a Saban or Dabo get away that they reward even the slightest glimmer as though it were actual gold. 9 times out of 10 though you have a Brown, or maybe Holgorsen, on your hands. And that is generous. NFL is doing the same thing looking for the next Brady, Rogers, or Mahomes that they are drafting the slightest potential at QB at premium spots despite 9 out of 10 first round draft QBs being Mariota or Winston rather than Luck or Mahomes. But if the system punishes you more for missing out on the next big thing than making crazy gambles, the latter will remain the course of action the decision makers will take.

Your opinion. Welcome to it even thoughts
“… wasn’t…” is not a proven fact. “…May not be… “ is closer to a reasonable statement.

Well per Lyons himself, it was one of the factors that got him fired....so it seems like a proven fact to him at least.

I will NEVER understand why you fire the guy who hired a terrible coach but keep the terrible coach, no matter what the exit price is! WVU and Morgantown businesses will lose more than the money they would have paid Neal Brown to go away which, remember, is deducted from any money Neal Brown gets for his next coaching job!

Because the guy that hired the coach painted the department into a corner and handcuffed them.

Good thought except WVU doesn't give a single shit about local businesses unless they donate to the University.

Oh and firing Lyons is cheaper than firing Kneel.

Think of it as f#&king the friend of a girl who cheated on you ( a.k.a. hate f#$k by proxy). It's a little less satisfying but still a good bit of fun.
