Texas San Antonio linebacker Martavius French tells me that he will now in fact be visiting Jan. 6. He was working on setting up that date but now tells me that it is done. French started his career at Tennessee but did not see any game action and transferred to Hutchinson C.C. From there, the Tennessee native moved onto UTSA where he appeared in 37 games over the past three seasons and piled up 163 tackles, 22.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. He had 80 tackles and 17 tackles for loss last season. French has one year left in his college career.
