Update on replacing GSUs 4 "O" linemen

The loss of virtually all your offense line has to be a concern. No one is going to confuse the WVU defense with the Seattle Seahawks but it's hard to just line up and run over the top of them ( throw out the Oklahoma game). I think GSU will be a live dog in this game but replacing the O line has to be a variable in the equation.

Tony makes a pretty decent point. To compound the issue, WVU lost one backup lineman to the NFL.... the starters are still there. The one starting LB WVU lost will be replaced by a RS Senior who sat out last year with injury. The secondary returns with 4 guys who will definitely be playing on Sundays and a RS Senior who was a 4 star out of high school.

Offensive line continuity can be terrible (see WVU in 2010). Playing your first game together as a unit versus a defense with a lot of starts and talent under their belt can spell nightmare. Simply having bodies isn't enough.

The article didn't act like it wasn't a concern. Sounds like they are crossing their collective fingers. But, whatever. I think you/everyone underestimates how good WVU's defense is, and will be. I'm not at all worried about being able to stop anyone.

My only concern is our OL, and we didn't lose 4 starters. If our OLine is good, we'll run you out of the stadium.

WVU will be 3-0 going into Norman, Oklahoma.... That game will be a doozy.

You ought to look into investing in some WVU gear. I know it's summer and you're saving for your annual family camping/fishing hoedown to Evans County PFA. But, hat's aren't that expensive. I can get you a deal on one(be sport'n the Leonardo DiCaprio look). You'll be the cock of the walk in the back of that Jon Boat, oaring your way across the pond with a few cats in tow.

TONY & GAP:
I'm trying to make the best of it but it worries me a lot. That and the fact we are playing you in the first game. This gives WVU a chance to look over the films, extra time to defensively scheme & exploit or new line. I'd rather have had WVU the second game to give you 4 days to get ready. This is only our 2nd year in FBS so we should have picked up 15 more scholarships but they have only had

the spring to train so depth against a P5 team will still be a problem.

TALON the FLAMER - We will win by 3 points & there is nothing you can do about it. I'm collecting that $2 bill
