Youngstown (Oh.) Ursuline 2025 offensive lineman Phillip Bowser told me that things have been going great with West Virginia and he has gotten to know offensive line coach Jack Bicknell since he took over the post in Morgantown. The Mountaineers are recruiting him as an offensive lineman that could fill multiple roles and he told me that the coaches like the way that he finishes blocks, his feet and the way he can bend at the position. Bowser told me the plan is to make a decision soon and he will first head to UCF Thursday-Friday before going to West Virginia Saturday-Sunday. He told me that he has been to Morgantown before for a camp but this visit will allow him to meet the new coaching staff and also get an idea for the educational side of things that the school has to offer.
