From the WVU standpoint if we are going to give up a home game we'd much rather have a quality opponent. Teams like Texas A&M, and current #1/#2 Virginia........ not Marshall.
Maybe so, maybe not. But it will never happen as long as the lesser of the two insists on a game at a neutral site every year (where WVU provides 2/3rds of the attendance and has to split the gate evenly) and a game in Huntington every other year in exchange for one return game to Morgantown, and the lesser coach says Huggy Bear is afraid of him unless he agrees to those terms. Like Huggs said, that's laughable and let 'em find someone else to play.

That of course is not a "fact" it is an opinion. Take a look at the scores of those games for the last 20 years, close hard fought games for the most part!

That depends if one believes in UVA as to out of conference ....I don't and I think they'll get dumped again ( probably not by 30 points) in the 2nd round of the dance but time will tell. UK is to big for us but it would be an interesting game, Cats can't throw it in the ocean and the only reason they beat the Mounties was a hot shooting second half by a streaky player....we'd give UK a game this year!
Uh, Tony...What do you think the Herd's record would be right now, had it played WVU's schedule to this point?
