This is for discussion and entertainment purposes so don't anyone get their panties in a wad...
If the Big 12 wants a northeastern presence, you have Syracuse, Temple, Army, BC and UConn.
So realistically, you have Syracuse, BC and UConn.
Now I would NOT put any of them ahead of our top ACC candidates that we have discussed many times over.
But...
Of the three, I am thinking UConn would be superior to BC or Syracuse in the new era - its proximity to NYC and it's TOP TIER BB program.
My guess is that UConn is the #1 backfill candidate for the ACC. And that might be the place for them.
But I would not rule out UConn if we end up at 24. As a matter of fact, given the aforementioned, I can see the value in it.
Thoughts?
