The Trump transition team is currently working on drafting an executive order that would speed up the process to fire generals who are not able to understand what the chain of command means.
There has been a lot of talk of Trump proofing the pentagon. That goes against the entire way in which our government was structured. The president is the commander-in-chief, and as such pentagon brass answers to him. Not the other way around.
For far too long, unelected, bureaucrats have thought that they can work to undermine the duly elected people in our government.
For instance, what Mark Milly did when Donald Trump was president is tantamount to treason. Going outside the chain of command and calling an enemy power to warn them about our own commander-in-chief is an actual insurrection. He should be subject to a court martial.
I’m very happy that the Trump administration is trying to circumvent this from becoming a problem during their second term.
I understand the left is having a collective aneurysm about this because their entire claim to fame is the resistance within the White House. But it has to be done. You don’t understand how to follow the military chain of command. You deserve to get walking papers.
