The Mountaineers continue to try to fill out needs through the transfer portal and one the biggest is obviously at wide receiver. West Virginia will receive a visit from Eastern Washington wide receiver transfer Freddie Roberson Jan. 20. The Mountaineers offered Roberson today and he appeared in 38 games during his time at Eastern Washington and hauled in 141 passes for 2,266 yards and 17 touchdowns. Last season Roberson caught 45 passes for 797 yards and 7 touchdowns.
