I would agree (with hoping it’s an injury), but now a days it’s hard to not think it’s all about the money. Not saying he doesn’t deserve it, but at this point, (IF this is just about the money) then he should of figured this out before camp because of the position this places the coaches and team in. There should be a certain date established when a player can “opted out” without loosing eligibility.

We gave money up to the ability to pay , we'll never be able to pay what a P-5 would pay a top player but you're right if he was going "bowling for dollars" seems like he would have done that in the Spring. Saw where a kid from Texas jumped into the transfer portal today, seems like that should be too late.
