Football, IMHO....college basketball is every night and the books make it very tough to play the home team ,which is the biggest home advantage in sports.
Could be good plays, the trip to Ireland to open the season for the Wildcats and Cornhuskers could well lead to a sloppy low scoring game. Miami is not a bad team but I have noticed that Stoops is not above leaving starters in late to score the old "meaningless" TD.
That's what I was thinking. Always seems to be wet and dreary in Ireland. Wildcats seem to do well as a mudder, but feel teams won't be wearing the scoreboard operator out.
Yes, NW always has smart kids but usually not a lot of team speed, a wet soggy track tens to neutralize that a bit.
Have to say though, if I were to place a C-Note on the tilt, the game would probably end up mimicking a WVU-Baylor tilt, where defense is optional.

I might be totally off base but I think someone has gotten into his head about where he should be playing! No doubt he's an excellent player, saw where McShay lists him as the 5th best back in college right now. Whole thing seems curious to me 11 days before our first game.
