I’m gonna be honest, I’m not interested in saving Neal Browns job at WVU. He’s had 6 years and failed miserably. There’s really no way for him to win this fan base back. The program is stale and a change is necessary for both Neal and the program. I will wish him well in his future endeavors. He’s just not a good fit here.Neal Brown should be on the phone with Tom Herman right now. He should be our OC tomorrow. That "might" save Neal Brown's job.
I just want the best candidate for the job. Not necessarily the perceived best coach in America. The best coaching fit hereI originally loved the Neal Brown hire. He brought back the WV culture and Alumni back to the program. However, he isn't winning. It's all about the W's. After he lost to Pitt, he is as good as gone...and very well should be. I'm just not sure who can replace him. I'm not a fan of Fisher or Rich Fraud. Not sure who would want to come here with the fan base screaming for Neal Brown's job so loudly. I'm not a big time donor, so I get no say. LOL!
With the university hurting for money, Jimbo might be the best choice. He will never be able to spend the money he’ll be given from Texas A&M over the next few years.I originally loved the Neal Brown hire. He brought back the WV culture and Alumni back to the program. Or we could just fire Neal and find us a coach.Neal Brown should be on the phone with Tom Herman right now. He should be our OC tomorrow. That "might" save Neal Brown's job.
He's shown interest in coming here because nobody else wants him. So if he can rebuild WVU he will be gone in 2 to 3 years. With the university hurting for money, Jimbo might be the best choice. He will never be able to spend the money he’ll be given from Texas A&M over the next few years.
He has obviously shown interest in coming here and would likely do it for cheaper than any other candidate.
It’s a great opportunity for him to reclaim his spot as a top-tier coach and a chance for WVU to get their shine back
