WVU Release Today’s Game Postponed, Doubleheader Set For Saturday

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (March 8, 2019) – Due to inclement weather in the Morgantown area, today’s West Virginia University baseball game against Kent State has been postponed, and the two teams will play a doubleheader to open the series on Saturday, March 9, at 11 a.m. ET, at Monongalia County Ballpark.

Tomorrow’s originally-scheduled game will be played shortly after the conclusion of the first game of the doubleheader. Sunday’s contest, at 1 p.m. ET, will be played as scheduled.

Fans with tickets to Friday’s game can exchange them for tickets to Saturday’s doubleheader or any other game at Monongalia County Ballpark this season.

Tickets also are available for the weekend series atWVUGAME.com, by calling 1-800-WVU GAME, at the Mountaineer Ticket Office at the WVU Coliseumor on game day at Monongalia County Ballpark. Admission for WVU students is free with a valid student I.D.

The Mountaineers (6-5) are coming off a 2-0 upset win at No. 3 Oregon State on Sunday, while the Golden Flashes (4-7) won the MAC championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament a year ago.

Fans can listen to the games on the Mountaineer Sports Network from Learfield IMG College over the air on ‘The Ticket,’ WMMN-FM 95.7 in Morgantown and AM-920 in Fairmont-Clarksburg.
