Time to move on

if that story is true that GG's mom feels threatened and sometimes needs a police escort for wearing her son's jersey...who would want to play for this school? coaches from other teams already employ negative recruiting tactics against our state...if some of our drunk redneck fans ,who look like they've spent half of their lives in a bar , threaten some players family..I don't care if WVU has another winning season or drops football altogether.
There’s idiots everywhere in life. Sadly, dealing with them is just part of being in the public eye.

I would dispute GG or any other qb in America except for maybe Sanders in Colorado are in the public eye. And I'm damn sure GG's mom is not. It is not acceptable in the country I want my grandkids to live and it shouldn't be so easily brushed off.

If you’re on television or social media, you’re in the public eye. If you are performing at any level, you’re in the public eye. Unless you’ve been sheltered in life, this is pretty easy to understand. Is it acceptable? Of course not, but don’t act like this is some isolated WV issue. It happens to everyone in the public eye.

We have different definitions of public eye. But thanks for your perspective.

Using your definition, I still don't accept it in any way and would wish more would feel similar. But isn't first time my viewpoint may be in the minority.

I know a few people that if you harassed their mother your brains would be coming out of your ears.

I didn’t say I accepted it either. I’m only saying it’s unfortunately very common. One lesson in life you eventually learn, you can’t fix the world. And you can’t beat up the world. Lots of crazy fvcking people out there.

And you’re 100% correct.
