This WVU basketball commit has moves like Jagger

Strong commit or does anyone foresee him backing out? Looks impressive.

I listened to him in an interview soon after committing. Although very young, this was one of the more mature sounding recruits that I have ever heard in an interview. I would never begin to say that any recruit is not going to change his mind for some reason but he seemed like he had put a lot of thought into his decision to go with Huggs. Sounded very sure of his commitment.

This kid is going to test Huggs' patience. If they can find a common ground, he will be a walking recruiting tape for our program.

I see Holman Harley with 1000x better decision making.

I heard that same interview...........if you're talking about the one he did with Caridi. Tony commented afterwards how unbelievably mature the kid is for his age. Totally agree with you guys. He came across as extremely mature and as someone who had given a LOT of thought to his particular commitment........

Pistol Pete reborn....or am I dating myself?

I thought the same. But he'll have to score at Pete Maravich's level in order to be truly compared with him.

All-Time NCAA Career Scoring Leader with 3,667 points, an average of 44.2 points for 83 games. Pete Maravich was billed as the one who would put Louisiana basketball on the map from the first day he joined his father Press at LSU. People weren't disappointed.

Y'all know he was from Aliquippa and almost came to WVU. Right?

Further .... the only comment in this thread dating anyone is the "moves like Jagger" lyric used to describe McCabe.

That sounds right.

Reminds me of Jason Williams with style of play.

That was discussed in that interview also because of some nicknames being thrown around such as "White Chocolate" by some fans. He liked and knew a lot about Jason and said that he did pattern some of his game after Jason's but he also had others he followed. Didn't really want to be pinned with that same nickname though.

This kid is a slightly better dribbler.

Jagger is closing in on 75. Give the kid some credit.

"Gimme me cane, Keef. I've thrown out me 'ip agin."
