Anyone who gets into another argument with some Leftist about "global warming" or man made "climate change" should just re-post or re-link to this thread. 100% guaranteed no Leftists can argue any facts posted by @WVU82 here. Maybe that's true (in bold). As a counter though, it'd be helpful if you demonstrated with your intelligence and understanding of this anomaly and offered the board a serious refutation of which facts in this thread are incorrect? I mean it's not like you don't have plenty of material to attack with a factual rebuttal or the verified alternative scientifically confirmed Truth.

All the steps proposed to "secure the climate for the future" amount to almost no improvement in the climate using their own numbers. Who are the con men again?
I’m in the back of a cab heading to a meeting so I can’t go tit for tat with any of you. I think the aim here is to put some actual effort into limiting our emissions to TRY and prevent further warming trends. IE not telling auto manufactures not to worry about the MPG standards they already agreed to and were working towards.

OK...so if we humans can cause a "drought" why can't we make it rain whenever we need it to? If we can create deserts, why can't we just plant giant lakes in the middle of 'em and erase the problem wherever we see the need for some fresh water?
If we can "destroy" a water planet, why can't we get to the very bottom of our Ocean floors? You do realize there are depths we cannot reach, therefore we have no exact idea just how deep the deepest Oceans go?
This is why we have yet to fully map the Earth's Ocean floors, but we're about to destroy the entire water planet in roughly a decade...give or take a few years right AOC?

I didn't dispute or rebutt your DoD study. I simply read it, and consider its findings consistent with the rest of the "man made global warming" hysteria. More speculation and possibility summation than raw hard established scientific fact.
Humans CANNOT "control" or "change" earth's climate. It's debatable how much impact they even have on it, but I'm at least open to that debate. My point is the "science" on it isn't settled, and your DoD linked study is NOT settled science!
You may be convinced the evidence they presented is irrefutable, undeniable, unarguable, and unassailable. However I'm suggesting to you they are guessing and posturing just like all the rest of the "global warming" alarmists because any factual analysis of the hard scientific data proves there is no conclusive irrefutable evidence of human generated or caused climate change. Until you, the DoD, or anyone else can produce the hard scientific evidence validating otherwise, you are going to believe whatever you want. However that doesn't make it scientific fact.
