for 250 against the Boilers and kick start his Heisman campaign! Those boy don't get to see a beast like him often...nothing in the Big 10 like him!

So, three B10 backs finished with more yards rushing and more TD's, but Purdue hasn't faced anything like a guy who has rushed for 200+ once in his career? Better hope the Boilermakers don't have a defense like WKU or "Rockhead" might not see 30 yards, again.

Again with this?

The same talk happened with Cato last year.

Nobody cared. No Heisman. No Heisman talk. No NFL invites.

Meanwhile, even WVU'S 4th string RB gets a FA offer.

Don't puss out of playing us and then make excuses. I still don't know who is the bigger pussy -- Doc or Crackhead...
Wasn't MU that blinked ....we'll sign a home and home today! Just put it in the mail, be happy to call you boys 's bluff! But I don't look for that to happen ....much safer to stick with Liberty!

Quit making excuses and trying to get a bigger welfare check...

Tony I'm new here but could you tell me why WVU fans would care what "Coal Head" will do against the Boiler Makers AKA the "BMs" (bowl movements) of FBS?

I mean the Boilermakers (BMs) offense isn't that good. When the BMs were playing Idaho, It was near the end of the game and Idaho was ahead by 4. Someone threw a firecracker and the Idaho team thought it was the gun and ran off the field celebrating.
Three plays later the Boilermakers scored and won!

And the BM's defense, they play like possums?
Why possums you ask, because they play dead at home and get killed on the road.

JUST ASK'n

You've been here long enough to understand that WVU "cares " about everything we do at MU! Don't let 'em bullshit you into suggesting otherwise!

Georgia Southern has had more significant wins in one year than Marshall has had in its history.

It's laughable to think WVU cares what happens at or to Marshall. Marshall fans know our schedule, road games from home games, players not only on our team but in the Big 12. They know the times of our games, offensive and defensive strengths and weaknesses, our QB stats. ETC.....

I couldn't name 2 teams on Marshall's schedule without looking it up. And, other than this "Rockhead" character, couldn't name a player's name on their little team.

So yeah, we're eaten up with Marshall. I imagine (I've looked over there a couple of times) if you go to their boards (even their main board), there will be a daily thread on WVU if not more. Once again:
Yeah, we're eat up ..... [laughing][pfftt]

Leave it alone Tony... You're 0-12 against us. We gave into your whines and played a 7 game series..... 7 consecutive years... Won all 7.. 2 in Huntington (could have been a 3rd if you could have won a few games...but you didn't even win 1 and most weren't even close). Typical childish responses, "We could have beat you this year" (well..you never have).

It's like an amateur fighter, constantly wanting a fight with the champion. Finally gets it, gets knocked out, and keeps demanding a rematch, it's given, and knocked out again. Demands a rematch in his hometown, on his terms... Gets it. Gets knocked out again. It's time to retire....you never could, or ever will be able to beat the champ. It's a waste of his time to keep knocking you out when he could get bigger paydays (Home games in Morgantown) or fighting bigger opponents in neutral rings(Bigger paydays and more exposure).

Give up the dream of being the champ, it isn't going to happen and everyone knows it. Leave the champ alone, and worry about Western Kentucky, Rice, Florida International, Ohio U.... That's your speed. Not P5 teams. As bad a Purdue is, I'm confident they'll beat you too.

Vegas will be open for buisness if you think the Boilers will prevail. As for the rest of the diatribe, I will only tell you every game starts 0-0 and scores from 10 years ago have no meaning! BTW , I saw the QB you boys trotted out inthe Liberty Bowl, he ain't no Geno or Pat White by a long shot! He could overthrow the Empire State building...be happy to take our chances with WVU in 2015 .

I can understand why you want to take down your in state rival Tony & at 0-12 the fever has gripped you.
I hope one day you'll get to play them again. We at Georgia Southern feel your pain and crying out for vengeance. You can get your vengeance vicariously through GSU this year........ ;-)

Party On TONY & remember, I fell your pain until Sept. 5th that is!

I look for the GSU -WVU tilt to be a dogfight! WVU has a tremendous kicker, they can score for the opponents 40 yard line which is a huge edge in a close game...make it WVU 27 GSU 24. I'm UGA and Tech want no part of the Eagles either...maybe Paul Johnson remembers his days at GSU and will play but can't see UGA ever giving you boys a game , which is a shame!

TALON, I'll leave you boys about 75-80 of these in the locker room refrigerator for after the game.....

Place on affected areas, like so......

Does nothing for pride and self esteem however. You are on your own with all that. Well, I'll make a few calls and see if this feller is available for the ride back. Those who are able to travel, of course.

We play GT next year I think & UGA this year. WE have NO luck with UGA in the past. The most we have ever put on them was 28 points. The games were close till about mid way through the 3rd but like most of our FCS losses to SEC schools we didn't have the defensive depth to hang with them the hole game. When we were leading FSU in the 4th they went to a hurry up offense and subbed their receivers on every play and then proceeded to burn us down. Its hard to play FBS with 63 scholarships. Being our 2nd year in FBS we are still not deep and really couldn't compete with P5 teams on a weekly bases. Still I think we have a good chance against WVU in a single game matchup.

This game ain't no mismatch...not " Mission Impossible" that GSU could prevail! Howard when last seen was " shaky" at best if he doesn't pick it up WVU could lose.

Hey Couch, If I somehow do get to the game I want the steaks at the pre game tailgate. If for some unforeseen reason we lose I want to enjoy the pre game, but we WILL win & after the game I'll throw a frozen NY strip at your forehead to bring you out of your drunken loser stooper! You can thank me later!

Yawn......

WVU 41
GSU 20

Not sure what the line will be... I know I have it even for a crisp $2. But, WVU generally has about a 4 point home field advantage given even teams, possibly more being a night game. So, I'm looking at probably being a 20-21 point fav.

Hahahahahahaahahaha...no way WVU is a 21 point favorite to a GSU team that has players returning off a good year! If you're a 21 point favorite, I'll go all in on the Eagles! They played better teams than WVU to the wire last season. I think WVU finds a way to win the game but 3 TD's ain't going to happen!

You know Couch, Vegas had us down to NC state by 21 and GT by 28. WE were leading both teams in the last 2 & a half minutes of the game, fumbled on our side of the 5o and they scored with no time left. Yes we LOST but Vegas paid for their arrogance & so will WVU.

Exactly right Talon...if GSU had more than 1 lineman returning I'd really love 'em! I know you have backs returning but they have to have some daylight. Still the option doesn't really require tremendous blocking just enough.

TONY
I am worried about the offensive line. .For 29 0f 33 years we ran Paul Johnson's Spread Triple Option and used cut blocking which gave our smaller linemen an advantage. Now we use the pistol option and use zone blocking. We are recruiting larger linemen for the task but I don't know if they are ready yet. If they are we will jack WVUs jaw and make some gums bleed & if not it will be a long day for GSU.
