Marshall is 7-40 all time against major opponents. Their best win was over 11-4 Kansas State in 2003. That was a solid win, I will give them credit for that one. Their other wins over major opponents are 1-10 South Carolina, 6-6 Clemson, 2-9 Temple, 7-6 Louisville, 7-6 Maryland, and 2-10 Purdue. In fact WVU beat more major opponents last year alone than Marshall has in its entire history.
