I'm proud of the effort. Season and Brown era is over. I'm done talking about it and hope others have the self discipline to do the same. Time to look forward to the present and future and focus on what players to fill the roster, the coaches to be hired, and potential for success. But I know better and some individuals will continue beating others down in order to make themselves feel good. I hope the reasonable posters ignore their BS.
Take away the first quarter, and we played pretty good on offense. Defense was pathetic all night, but there were some who "checked themselves out" in the second half. But I just can't wrap my head around the decision to NOT call a timeout with 2:39 left in the 4th quarter after stopping Memphis on 1st down. Instead, Scott allowed the time to trickle down to the 2:00 minute timeout. That was 40 seconds we lost that made absolutely no sense. Piss poor time management has been an epidemic for WVU since Holgerson's time.
