… on our way to Columbus to pick up our son. Hadn’t been there in awhile. Evansdale looks amazing, really nice. Downtown about the same, not a lot of change. Traffic overall was brutal, now I understand all the complaints. And coming from someone who lives in the DC burbs, I know traffic. It’s bad in Motown. Stopped into Oliverios for lunch. Their outdoor patio has some of the nicest views of the river anywhere. The restaurant itself could use some updating but still nice. Service was slow but VERY nice. Super friendly. The food was just ok except for the crab 🦀 dip. I’m not a huge crab dip person but the wife, who grew up on the eastern shore of Maryland, raves about it so I guess it’s pretty solid. Overall Motown looked really nice, it was good to be back. Even if only for a few hours. We finally made it to Columbus so we can relax a bit before the moving out chaos 🤪 starts tomorrow.
