Arizona, ASU, Colorado and Utah come aboard.
Those 4 with WVU, OSU, TT, Cinci(with Fickell), and the others is a good 16 team conference. Not SEC obviously, but a good conference.
The SEC and BIG are only going to take so many from the ACC. Could this 16 team Big 12 pull 4 from the ACC when that time comes? Say VT, GT, Pitt and an NC school?
That 20 team conference would be perfectly viable in the grand scheme of things. Without ND on board(they will never join ACC) I don't think WVU should be so quick to jump to the ACC.
So the question is about creating the best that we can. Can we actually turn this into a really good conference? I'm not convinced that Miami will be picked up by either of the Big 2. That could be another option.
