So the Yankees go thru spring training and a full season & playoffs (162games) then screw the pooch on one of the biggest stages in all of sports. A Judge drops a line drive in center field, A Volpe makes a bad throw to 3rd base and G Cole fails to cover 1st base on a routine ground ball. A 5 run lead evaporates and they snatch a L out of the jaws of victory. Many games are decided by a single bad play and last night I saw 3 well trained, experienced, elite professional athletes badly fail to execute plays.
Got me thinking that maybe I should be more forgiving when one of our athletes has a brain freeze in a big game. LGM.
