Western Illinois wide receiver Matthew Henry is coming off a season where he hauled in 64 passes for 1,211 yards and 6 touchdowns. He previously spent two years at DII Livingston where he was productive with 66 catches for 840 yards over two seasons. Henry told me that he has been in contact with West Virginia, specifically Ryan Garrett and he told him that the coaching staff is impressed with his overall skill set. He is talking with the coaches about setting up a visit to Morgantown Jan. 3 but that is not set in stone yet. He told me that the coaching staff has told him he is a great fit for the offense and he wants to come see it and learn more about the school. Right now he is hearing from several other schools and wants to find the place that's the best fit. He will have one year left in his career.
