Reisterstown (Md.) Franklin wide receiver Steven Smothers told me he loved his trip to West Virginia this weekend and can't wait to get on campus. While he can play both inside and outside wide receiver, one area the coaches definitely see him making an impact on is at punt returner. Smothers told me that while he had initially planned to take several official visits he now is only considering one outside of West Virginia and that's to Nebraska in early November. He plans to take his official visit to Morgantown for the Texas game but will be back on campus for both the Maryland and Oklahoma State games. He still considers his commitment very solid.
