Alexandria (Va.) St. Stephens and St. Agnes wide receiver Malcolm Johnson received an offer from West Virginia during his visit to campus over the weekend and he told me that he honestly didn’t see it coming and was highly surprised when it happened. It was his first time visiting campus and he felt it was a great trip as he was impressed with the environment as well as the fact that the Mountaineers feature their wide receivers in the offense. The coaches like his versatility at wide receiver as well as his size and he plans to make it back for another visit. Wide receivers coach Xavier Dye is the lead recruiter and was the coach that offered him.
