Watertown (Ct.) Taft School 2026 defensive lineman Jude Okeleke told me he had been talking to West Virginia since the summer, but found out about the offer yesterday and was really excited to add the Mountaineers to his offer list. He said it's a really good school and he knows a lot about the program by watching it over the years. He told me that he plans to take a visit but doesn't have the date work out yet. The coaching staff likes that he is an aggressive player and is explosive as well as good with his hands. Okeleke spoke with both defensive line coach AJ Jackson and assistant Jaysen Thompson and he could fit anywhere on the defensive line. The coaches told him that he will be a priority moving forward and he is definitely looking more into the program now. He wants to eventually find a school where he can develop a strong relationship with the coaching staff and where he will improve both on and off the field as he continues to develop.
