Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith 2023 athlete Tory Johnson earned an offer from West Virginia today and he is the son of former tight end Tory Johnson. He lined up at wide receiver around 90-percent of the time and tight end about 10-percent and received the offer after talking with head coach Neal Brown and tight ends coach Travis Trickett. He said he really enjoyed the experience and had been talking to several of the coaches prior to the camp stop. He will be back for the Virginia Tech game this fall and told me that of course the offer means a lot to him given the ties, but he's just excited to get it regardless and earn it at camp.
