I just spoke with Lackawanna College Coach Mark Duda for a story I'm working on, but we also talked about some of the players that West Virginia is currently recruiting there.
On the TE Trevon Wesco, Duda says that he "grossly athletic." Duda says Wesco could do everything West Virginia requires the TE/FB to do within the air raid offense. Duda also noted that West Virginia is the frontrunner for Wesco right now, since he's from the state.
On the OL Ashton Julious, Duda believes he could play guard or tackle at the FBS level. Julious' recruitment has really picked up recently with NC State and Arizona State offering in addition to West Virginia. Julious is from South Carolina and ended up at Lackawanna after Duda and his staff actually was coaching in an All-Star game down in Julious' home state. Julious will also be a January enrollee.
Finally on last of the White brothers, Duda thinks Kyzir White is probably going to fit as hybrid outside linebacker or safety, kind of like West Virginia's SPUR. Duda compared the way White hits people to that of Karl Joseph. Duda says West Virginia and Penn State are pretty heavily involved with White.
