Not that it's any of my business, but did Rich issue any incoming "demands" regarding the design/styling of the Staff (or his own) offices....or, for that matter, the remainder of the current football facilities ??
Now, I recognize the PC was dramatically renovated several years ago; but it wouldn't surprise me if some of the designs implemented per Bean's requirements/input might have been amended based on the sensibilities/needs of the new leader. I also realize Rich may well have been content with the current facility, and he's chosen to focus initially more toward on-field/cultural issues rather than those behind the walls.
I also appreciate that any such changes.......beyond comparatively minor items like carpeting and paint (and perhaps furniture).......might take some time to coordinate/complete.
