I rarely post, but I do check this forum on a daily basis. I think the staff is focused on making the most of the NIL money they have. If you outbid these other schools for what is considered the better prospect, you will definitely go through the money faster. i think they are focusing on more affordable prospects that they can "coach up". They are basically trying to reassemble half the team. They seem to be focusing on bringing in multiple players and hoping they develop into good players and also build depth. They could possibly outbid schools for what seems to be the better prospect, but keep in mind that this player is one play away from being injured and done for the season. and you have little depth behind them. Certainly there are positions where players make a greater impact, in particular the skill positions. I like the coaching staffs approach. Time will tell.
