--We got to see practice for a little under 10-minutes today and my main takeaway was that it was all about tempo and speed. The focus was on moving things along and constant movement with there definitely being a level of intensity across the board. Had a different vibe than the previous coaching staff with the coaches really demanding from their players in each rep of the drill to cycle through. Rodriguez observed the action and wanted to see the tempo faster in between reps.

--It all happened fast today and I was trying to take pictures and video too, but I did see Rodney Gallagher make a nice catch and Cyrus Traugh as well.

--Quarterbacks were in black and rotated leading the offense down the field. Everybody else was mixing in and out and there were a number of players in jerseys on the sideline not participating as Rodriguez alluded to earlier this spring.

--One offensive line grouping consisted of Nick Krahe, Kimo Makane'ole, Landen Livingston, Walter Young Bear and Ty'Kieast Crawford. And there were different groups rotating in and out through but it all happened so fast it was hard to get numbers but again this was just a bunch of guys going in and out in rapid succession. A defensive line grouping that I caught was Elijah Kinsler, Nate Gabiel and Asani Redwood but again they were mixing and matching so many different groups even during that small period we watched.

--Once that drill was complete, the team met at midfield and that's when the practice ended for the media.
