That can certainly help with recruiting but also means David Sills will start showing up on a lot of NFL draft predictions. If he has a 2nd half of the season equal or better he may find himself as a 1st or 2nd round draft projection. He has the brains and tools to be considered a high round draft pick and will join the other WRs WVU has sent to the NFL. If he is good enough good luck to him, the kid has had a crazy path to greatness and he is now knocking on the door.
One thing to consider is that in the first half of the season Sills and our other WRs has only played 1/2 game in a couple of our games. He will be playing all 4 Qrts in the rest of the games we have. His numbers should go up in the 2nd half of the season. He will also be on TV weekly.
Get use to it! Carrier can use this to recruit others and most definitely will.
Being a Top 3 Offense in the country having already played two very good defenses also helps with recruiting. Top offensive players want to play in top offenses, the B12 is the conference to be in and WVU is building a reputation for being very good annually. WVU is a fun team to watch with an offense recruits want to play in. If David Sills is good enough to cash in who can blame him. If he and Grier wants to stay and play for championships I think that would be ok as well for us Mountaineer Faithful.
For most of us we will just enjoy watching him get better every week.
Six B12 all-Americans make the below cut by the way.
