Do any of you think the "change" of base defense had an thing to do with the lack of the players not knowing where or what to do? Ultimately it is on the staff to get them there, so it is still a major indictment of coaching abilities. I know some is maybe the quality of player, but is Beanie that much better before getting here than this years TP guys like Fagan? I know we seem to never see improvement for any HS recruits too. I just think to some extent, I wonder if NB was part of his own undoing with changing philosophies.
