Probably some WVU fans still on the fence with the Rich hire but with the staff he is assembling look for this to be near the top of 2024 coaching hires. Wren Baker deserves a lot of credit for what appears to be a great hire all things considered. He appears to be trusted by donors as well or else WVU is not pulling a hot shot DC out of the SEC.
Next Up: Getting enough NIL money in place to afford players. Who knows if Rich’s staff will be able to recruit at a Top 25 level or better. There are coaches such as Alley, Stewart, Scott and Rich that can recruit . With the recruiting specialists we kept, you would think WVU could attract players. Winning early would help.
Can this staff recruit in the Top 15-25 range? Can Wren put WVU in the Top 15-25 NIL range? In my humble opinion it starting to look that way.
