7-5 with a win against Pitt. I’ll be happy with that.7-5 would be terrific under the circumstances. The exodus of players will begin after the bowl game
It was a stipulation in the contract.Reads like Rod expects to have a winning season year 1.
3.75 million a year for 5 years. Good contractHis contract is pretty low base salary. If he wants to make big money he will have to win. I'm always in favor of incentive-based contracts. It's just seems like it's a win-win for everyone.
Yep. Initially it was being rumored $2.5 per year. I wonder if the length of the decision had something to do with negotiations on raising salary?3.75 million a year for 5 years. Good contract
Yep and then hit the portal hard. We need a lot of helpRich Rod said hiring defensive staff was the #1 priority. After he watched that last night, I'm sure he now understands that it is the most important hires.
Possibly. Cause I had heard Rod wanted a life time contract. So if he wins he just might get that considering his age.Yep. Initially it was being rumored $2.5 per year. I wonder if the length of the decision had something to do with negotiations on raising salary?
Low? $3.5 million to coach a kid's game in one of the poorest states in the nation? Are you serious, bro? How much do you make for $3.5 million to be considered low?His contract is pretty low base salary. If he wants to make big money he will have to win. I'm always in favor of incentive-based contracts. Are you being serious? Or choosing to live in a bubble within WV? For a P4 HC it’s one of the lowest. Neal Brown at $4 million was ranked 12th out the 16 team Big12. $3.5 million is a bargainLow? $3.5 million to coach a kid's game in one of the poorest states in the nation? Are you serious, bro? No kidding, Sherlock. We're not comparing coaching salaries here as they are all ridiculously high. The Product will make more in half a year than most people will see in an entire lifetime. THAT IS NOT LOW NO MATTER HOW YOU SLICE IT!Are you being serious? Or choosing to live in a bubble within WV? For a P4 HC it’s one of the lowest. Couple QB'S behind Nicco that would be good to keep as well. Like the transfer from BYU and another athletic RPO guy.We have lost a few more players today. I have mixed feelings as I don't find anyone except Nicco, White and Clements from the roster in the bowl game that are ones I really want to keep. Quite a few others, especially on the OL would be desirable to keep. Basically the rest of the roster would be depth players on a top team but we won't be that in 2025. So losing players is in fact a tough pill to swallow. As I said, mixed feelings but I would have to think RR doesn't want to lose many players.
there's not a college football coach in the country worth a million dollars..yet the idiots pay them..No kidding, Sherlock.
