He was great to watch. Forget who he had that long time beef with...WVU fans loved to hate on Chaney....
Somewhere I still have my John Chaney mask that they use to pass out to the students during the WVU-Temple games back in the days of the A-10.
My condolences to his family.
Calipari. They got into it during a postgame press conference once. Google it on YouTube. He was great to watch. Forget who he had that long time beef with...
I was at that game and my son and I were sitting in the upper concourse when he game up with an assistant to watch the pregame warmup. He was approached by several people for him to autograph the masks. He politely signed the masks. One student handed him a mask that had his eyes poked out and stitches drawn on his face. He took the mask, looked at it and then started chuckling signed the mask and handed it back! I had such great respect for him after that. I think he loved coming to WVU to play. RIP John!WVU fans loved to hate on Chaney....
