RR did not throw the Pitt game. Pitt controlled the LOS. Here is also some reality. Even with RR WVU is going to post similar records as Dana in the Big 12. His teams will just be more physical and play some of these teams closer.

A 4 win Pitt team controlled the LOS against a team WVU team on the cusp on a national championship. A team that whipped Oklahoma on both sides of the ball. Yet Rich Rods team will supposedly be more physical? That's filled with logic, yet I will admit in the broad sense that it certainly seemed his teams were more physical more often than not. They certainly weren't practicing in ball rooms. I also doubt we would be better defensively with a bunch of high school qbs playing defense.

Rich is the most overrated head coach in America. What is his record as a head coach in a P5 conference? Is it even .500? No, he didn't throw the 2007 Pitt game; he was simply out coached. Nobody with an ego the size of Rich's would throw away a chance to coach in the National Championship Game.

Maybe, but Lane Kiffin is the most overrated coach. Even though he's not currently a head coach he still gets fawned over more than most who are.
