We tend to forget that coming into this season our expectations were nowhere near where our record is, even now. Yes this team is super talented and could do better but they’re also super young and going to go through some growing pains. This season is going to be defined by how they grow and develop down the stretch. They need to find a leader to keep them focused and positive and find someone, ANYONE, who can lead this team on the court... meaning a point guard who can make shots and not turn it over. Games like tonight are frustrating, sure, but it’s the losses to KSU and those types that frustrate me more. Just remember when you’re calling for Hugg’s ass or screaming at the TV in front of your family (or with them, lol) that this is the youngest team in the country and any other coach would be lucky to have a .500 record a year after 14-18 or whatever we were last year.
