It feels good to have gotten off the 7-win plateau and at least gotten two straight 8-win seasons. Hopefully we keep this going and pull out an amazing effort tomorrow night.

Regardless if we win or lose tomorrow Dana has improved the program and deserves a new contract
You mean we're not 5-1 already? Now to finish with a respectable conference record. Instead of the 4-5.
It would be disappointing, but the fact has been this team has played like a team this year. They've mostly played within Skyler's limits offensively and defense has begun to be a reloader and not a rebuilder. No one's trying to be a star and everyone is playing together. Those are the dangerous teams to watch.I'll play devil's advocate here......so you would stand by that statement if we go on a 3 game losing streak and finish 8-4???
Personally, I don't think that will happen and think we are more likely to finish 10-2 at worst....and I agree, he deserves an extension.

You mentioned the 4-5 when it's now numerically impossible to have that record again. We could still be anywhere between 8-1 and 5-4 (likely 7-2 or 6-3). Baylor at the end will probably decide it and they aren't playing great right now, but could in two weeks. If we can't win tonight, all of a sudden we might be vulnerable against what has been an almost-dangerous ISU team in Ames. That's still not good enough in a down BIG 12 conference. Let's wait until seasons end before proclaiming anything. IMO
I still like where we are, but we haven't played that bad all year. I still feel like December 2007.Any different morning-after opinions?
