Centreville (Ala.) Bibb County running back Deshun Murrell just started talking with running backs coach Chad Scott a few days ago and told me that when he offered he was really excited. He's always watched the program from afar and told me that the Mountaineers are now in his top eight along with Virginia Tech, California, UCLA, Duke, Louisville, Northwestern and Wake Forest. He has only visited Georgia Tech, Troy and UAB but plans to visit all of his top eight soon. He told me that Scott is a really cool assistant and connected with him pretty quickly and he is excited to get to know him better as things continue to progress with his recruitment. Scott told him that he loved him his film and offered him after getting a look at it and it's not hard to see why after he rushed for over 2,000 yards and 33 touchdowns last season.
