Maybe not to West Virginia fans but they are a state school in a big TV market and for the rest of the Big12 they are in the traditional footprint of the BIG12 with none of the travel issues of having MORE games on the east coast. They have to get 8 teams to vote yes. Would not surprise me at all if they get an invite over BYU. Would also not surprise me if when push comes to shove it is BYU and Colorado State, leaving us still on an island.Sure as long as they are 1 of 4 teams. Honestly they don't bring anything more to the table than any other candidates do.

Now if the Oklahoma president can get the rest of the B12 to go along ...Maybe not to West Virginia fans but they are a state school in a big TV market and for the rest of the Big12 they are in the traditional footprint of the BIG12 with none of the travel issues of having MORE games on the east coast.
