I’ll admit up front that I am lukewarm on the hire. Not sure how someone goes from 7th choice to guaranteed program savior overnight.
But here is my question. If we are saying that all of those going into the portal from the WVU roster are doing so because they are soft and don’t want to work hard under RR……what makes us think that players from elsewhere are dying to come do it?
Most of these players were 3 years old last time he was here. He hasn’t really been relevant in coaching for 15 years. What’s the draw?
I do hope WVU is successful, but the whole NIL era has me on the border of not really caring in general. I use to watch a ton of college basketball and football games, but now seldom watch a game not involving WVU. It wouldn’t be all that difficult to bag it all together. I must be soft. My golf game has improved though.
