I seem to recall when DD was hired he was known more for his offense than he was for being a defensive ace.
The impression I had was that Wren really stressed to DD that he had to have a better defensive approach now that he was coaching in the Big 12.
To that end, again the impression I had was that Wren played a huge part in bringing on both Bennett and Frazier with the express purpose of getting that defensive groundwork for the program laid in year one.
Can you comment on this?
