I'm a middle millennial and only because a fan when I first arrived on campus as a freshman back in '08, so my memory of WVU sports began right in the middle of what seemed to be our athletics department's golden era. That era of WVU sports seems like a lifetime ago to me. I have never witnessed our teams collectively look so bad across the department (baseball & men's/women's soccer notwithstanding).
Can any long-time fans/alumni remember a time where things seemed this bad collectively across all WVU sports? I'm not trying to pile on, but I'm wondering if Wren (and hopefully if Gee is fired, whoever replaces him) is facing an unprecedented rebuild of our athletic department.
