If Dick Rod is in fact the/not our next coach its a sad day.
When Wren Baker implied that integrity was a prerequisite for the job, I believed him, even though that fact should be a given. He then publicly came out telling the fans that integrity was a prime concern in searching for the next coach. His actions have certainly caused most of us to seriously doubt the man's understanding of the word integrity, not to mention his credibility. I'm reminded of our current President who, like Wren, made what most would call a definitive statement regarding his son and then walked it back without any hesitation. I can't wait for Wren to reveal his thoughts on Dick Rod's hiring with regard to the integrity issue. Maybe it was the way that the disloyal bastard spent more time looking for another job, instead of preparing our team, (not his), to win a game, as 17 point favorites, which would have put us in the National Championship game. Those actions lead me to believe that DR may have a slight issue with integrity not to mention loyalty. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on Wren!!!!! Finally, the fact that Wren was responsible for hiring Coach DeVries shows that in the interim someone has switched out his daily vitamins for super strength Dumb Pills!!
